April Board Meeting

The RPIA Board had a great board meeting on Monday, April 20th.  It discussed new initiatives for the street directors and block captains, so keep an eye out for some exciting news.  The Traffic Circle Committee reported on its activity regarding resolving the watering and plant problems on Elizabeth Boulevard, and is awaiting city approve to finalize them.

In event news, the Board approved the parade route for the 4th of July Parade and discussed practicing for the Ryan Place v. Fairmount Softball Game.  The Board also reviewed the results from the recent neighborhood wide survey, and will be releasing those soon.  The Board discussed how to implement the requests made through the survey.  Finally, the treasurer reported that our fundraising is approximately 20% ahead of last year.  A complete description of the meeting will be available in the minutes, which will be posted after they are approved in May.

The next meeting is May 18th, and it will be a General Membership Meeting.  So if you want to give the board a suggestion or volunteer, come prepared.  More information will follow regarding that meeting.
